My new way of posting Pictures. I'm excited to show you all the cute bow...... Cute models too! Go to my other blog jzaccessories.

Our Anniversity Trip to the Gaylord Texan

First I want to tell you sorry for taking so long to post. There really isn't a good enough excuse to justify being 2 months since the last one, except a little addicted to facebook-yoville and farming, a little depression going on and little busy being a nanny to 3 Lil munchkins..... SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!

This past weekend I spent making hair bows and headbands to sale on my blog and at the Aspasians in Sept. Check them out on my jzaccessories blog. I'm working on a new way to display my pictures, very time consuming but looking great!!! you let me know what you think, if it was worth 4 hrs of my time.

Well we celebrated our 27th Anniversary on July 17, WOW!!!!!!!!!! can't believe 27 yrs. We have had our ups and downs, some very hard years..................... but we are on the up right now. Our marriage and our friendship is the greatest it has been in years..........I praise GOD for that. Our kids are gown and doing their own thing, we are trying to think about ourselves for once and spend time together. It has really helped out. We set aside Friday nights as our date night, together alone.....

So we thought since we haven't been anywhere for our anniv in yrs and didn't get to go any where except MO for our 25th, we thought we deserved a weekend away. A friend told us about the Gaylord, to check it out, they had specials going on all summer . Well they had anniv special, pay one night and get the second free. There was 2 room specials to pick from one for 159 and one for 235 with a private balcony over looking the insde of the Gaylord.. At first I told the gal the 159...then I got to thinking, why not go all out and get the view....... WOW am I glad we got the view....BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Well worth it don't you think? It was amazing you could hear the water falls and sometimes there would be music playing. We would leave our balcony door open and just lay on the bed and relax..... It's all enclose in a huge dome so it was cool in there. We left twice, but wanted to hurry and get back where it was nice and cool.

I booked a murder mystery dinner for Dee's birthday. He had been wanting to go to one for a long time. It was at the Riverwalk cafe there in the Gaylord. It was fun, food was OK, deserts was wonderful..... . The murder involved 5 people and the murdered saloon/call girl, had the sheriff, judge, preacher, preacher wife w/her talking hand, and another saloon girl. First they told us about each other and how they knew the gal, then the sheriff went around telling how each one could of murdered her, then each one went around the tables and we could ask them questions, then we wrote down who we thought did it.After a 10 min break the sheriff told us who did it, how and why. Dee guess the preacher's wife and the talking hand, but he was wrong.

We had a great time, just wish we could of stayed longer. Will tell you more about it and post more pictures later.
